New Order and Joy Division fans get ready! Featuring the former bassist of both of those bands, Peter Hook & the Light have announced a US (and one Canada stop) tour for late summer/early fall of 2026. This will be a continuation of their successful 2025 tour where they feature the New Order album Get Ready. We have our tickets already to see them in Dallas at the House of Blues.
Get Ready was New Order’s Seventh Album (2001)
Get Ready was the last album to feature the original lineup of New Order and their first album since Republic in 1993. Get Ready featured three singles: “Crystal”, “60 Miles an Hour” and “Someone Like You”. This is a great album and woefully underrated in my opinion. In addition to the three singles, I really like “Turn My Way” and “Slow Jam”.
Show Will Also Include Joy Division and New Order Favorites
Peter Hook & the Light originated in 2010 when they toured the world playing Joy Division songs including the album Unknown Pleasures in its entirety. Their subsequent tours usually have featured a Joy Division or New Order album in its entirety such as Closer, Still, Movement, Power Corruption & Lies, Low Life, Brotherhood, Technique, Republic and the Substance albums to arrive at Get Ready in 2025 and 2026. In addition to Get Ready, they will be playing a selection of New Order and Joy Division’s greatest hits.
