Not only did these two share the stage having just completed their tour of the United States, but they also share a birthday on July 9th. Soft Cell and their lead singer Marc Almond were the opening act for Jim Kerr and the Simple Minds on their twenty-three date Alive and Kicking Tour 2025. This was the largest tour of the US in four decades for the Simple Minds.
