Echo & The Bunnymen Very Best of Tour
Echo & the Bunnymen will be coming to the US next spring with 24 announced dates on the continuation of the their Very Best of Tour – More Songs to Learn and Sing. Ian McCulloch and his bandmates will start the tour on May 10, in British Columbia, Cananda before moving down the Pacific coast.

More Songs to Learn and Sing
Ultimately, they will have two shows in Canada and 22 in the United States, including Dallas at the House of Blues where I am also seeing Peter Hook and the Light. I have never been to an Echo & the Bunnymen concert before, so I am very excited to see them.
I Have Become a Huge Fan of Echo & the Bunnymen Over the Years
I have really grown to appreciate their music and have become a bigger fan the last several years than even I was back in the 80’s. Additionally, check out my playlist that I have made with songs from Echo & the Bunnymen, solo stuff from Ian McCulloch and songs from his other band Electrafixion.
“The Killing Moon” by Echo & the Bunnymen – The Greatest Song Ever Written?
I named my playlist “The Greatest Song Ever Written and Some Other Stuff Too” based on a quote from Ian McCulloch about “The Killing Moon”. Ian McCulloch has said that “The Killing Moon” is the best song ever written. “One morning,” he told The Guardian, “I just sat bolt upright in bed with this line in my head: ‘Fate up against your will. Through the thick and thin. He will wait until you give yourself to him.’ You don’t dream things like that and remember them. That’s why I’ve always half credited the lyric to God. It’s never happened before or since.”
